Tipster Tuesday: Giving Back to Our Troops!

Last night I was sorting through my coupon organizer and removing expired coupons. I looked at all those coupons just laying on the floor and I wondered...What do you do with your unused and expired coupons? Throw them away? Recycle them?

I usually give mine to my little girl. She LOVES cutting out coupons with mommy and taking her own stack of coupons to the grocery store. Plus it's a great opportunity to teach her a lesson in the importance of saving money. After all our children are the Future Couponers of America. ;)

Well did you know you can donate your coupons to U.S. Military Bases all around the world? The prices in overseas commissaries are significantly higher than those in the U.S. and military families do not always have access to coupons in newspapers and inserts. Military families can redeem coupons for up to 6 months after their expiration date. You can find out more details and information HERE.

So the next time you are staring at a pile of unwanted or expired coupons you’ve sorted and thinking about throwing them away, send them to our troops instead. It will only cost you a stamp or two and you would help our wonderful service men and women at the same time. What a great way to be able to support our troops!

God Bless Our Troops and their families!

Rebate Roundup 5/30-6/5

My friend Greta over at Friend Family Savings has your weekly Rebate Roundup! She has taken the time to compile a list of info and deal ideas for current mail in rebates to give you ultimate savings!

Rebates are a great way to earn extra money and save you money on items you would normally buy anyway. Plus it's exciting to open your mailbox and find a rebate check or gift card several weeks or months later! =)

Thanks so much Greta!

Last day of the month!

Which means coupons will start disappearing, resetting, and reappearing today and tomorrow. So if there are any printable coupons you want, better print them before they are gone!

So what does this mean? Fun and Frugal Moms is back and I've got a scorching *HOT* Huggies Diaper Deal for you. I went to CVS/Pharmacy today to purchase some diapers and I found Huggies Little Movers Mega Packs on clearance for 50% off the regular price of $17.99. Talk about being ecstatic! Add the $3/1 Huggies coupons circulating for a fantastic deal!

Here is what I scored at CVS today:

(2) Huggies Little Movers Mega Packs Size 4 $8.99
(2) Huggies Little Movers Mega Packs Size 5 $8.99
- $5/$30 purchase CVS Q
- (4) $3/1 Huggies MQ
